Karşıyaka is Being Renewed Step by Step-2

Karsiyaka Municipality which is working on infrastructure investments besides social and cultural services, renewed the streets at Demirköprü Quarter completely. The streets which are organized as per zoning plans, are handled form roads, pavements, rain channels to garbage containers.

Streets are Completely  Renewed

Karşıyaka Municipality completed renewal works at an area of 750 square meters on 6168/2 street and near region at Demirkopru, being one of the busiest centers of district. On the streets that are organized as per zoning plans, besides works relating with roads, pavements and sidewalks, rain water grills and garbage containers are also renewed. By producing the materials that are used on the streets, at the municipality facility, costs are reduced.

Target is to Have a More Modern City

Karşıyaka Mayor Hüseyin Mutlu Akpınar, who stated that they are working to create a more modern and livable city, also said: “With our renewal projects, we are continuing to change the appearance of our streets. By producing the concrete coatings which we use in our works, at our own facility, we are also generating a significant amount of saving. It is our primary task to create a more beautiful, modern and peaceful Karsiyaka in line with the requests and proposals coming from our citizens. In order to achieve this, we will work with the same determination and will without interruptions for days and nights”.
