Best Folk Songs are Sang for the Soldiers

Karsiyaka Municipality and Turkish Retired Military Officers Association which is sending motivating packages to the soldiers executing their military duties as within the scope of project title as ‘Nation is entrusted to you and your families are entrusted to us’, have realized a meaningful concert this time. Concert being titled as “Songs for the Heroes from the Heart” took place with a wide participation at Bostanlı Suat Taşer Open Air Theater.

Night Full of Emotions

At the concert when Karşıyaka SESKEM Chorus took to the stage, the most beautiful songs of bravery are sang. Conductor of the orchestra was Seher Önal, while the soloist was Mehmet Can. During the night, which is also attended by the families of soldiers, pride and sadness mixed to each other while emotional moments are lived through. At the concert awareness is also created for the project being titled as ‘Nation is entrusted to you and your families are entrusted to us”. It is explained to the participating citizens about how the project is carried out and who the motivating packages are prepared and it is asked for them to give support.

“We Owe Infinite Gratitude”

Karşıyaka MayorHüseyin Mutlu Akpınar said: This project is a communal expression of the infinite gratitude we feel for our security forces which endanger their lives for their nation and the community. While sending our songs from the heart to our soldiers, we also found the opportunity to create awareness for our project. We informed our citizens about our works and we requested for them to provide support. By working hand to hand, we will expand this project even more”.

“We are by Their Side”

TESUD Karsiyaka Branch President Turgay Erdag said: “We are trying to be by the side of our soldiers who are executing their holy and difficult tasks all throughout our country and we are trying to motivate them. At this concert, we gave the most beautiful bravery songs to our soldiers as gifts”.
